Key Responsibilities
Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the marine and offshore industries.
Build and maintain strong relationships with shipyards, ship owners, shipping companies, marine contractors, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
Conduct regular customer visits to understand client needs and recommend suitable marine coating solutions.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender documentation while managing the sales process from inquiry to closing.
Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and commercial agreements with customers.
Provide basic technical product presentations and coordinate with the Technical Service team for product demonstrations and technical support.
Monitor ongoing projects, tenders, and vessel maintenance schedules to identify sales opportunities.
Collaborate with internal departments, including Technical Service, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Finance, to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and business opportunities.
Prepare regular sales reports, sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and customer visit reports.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing prompt after-sales support and handling customer concerns professionally.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Chemistry, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum 2–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in marine coating, protective coating, industrial coating, paint, chemicals, or the maritime industry.
Strong understanding of project sales and tender processes.
Existing network within shipyards, shipping companies, offshore companies, or marine contractors is highly preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Results-oriented with strong business development capabilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
Willing to travel for business trips.
Possess a valid driver's license.
