Position Summary
The Infra & Civil Engineer – Surveyor is responsible for supervising and coordinating site infrastructure and civil works, managing contractors on site, and carrying out land and construction surveys using Total Station and GPS equipment. The role ensures all works are executed according to project specifications, drawings, schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and monitor daily infrastructure and civil construction activities on site.
- Coordinate and manage contractors, subcontractors, and site workers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct site surveys, setting out, leveling, and coordinate checking using Total Station and GPS equipment.
- Verify survey data, measurements, and as-built conditions for construction accuracy.
- Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards
- Monitor project progress, workmanship quality, and site safety compliance.
- Assist in site planning, work sequencing, and resolving technical/site issues.
- Prepare and maintain survey records, site reports, progress reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants, project managers, and other project stakeholders regarding site activities and survey matters.
- Perform quantity checking and site measurement verification when required.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of surveying instruments and equipment.
Requirements :
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Surveying, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure, civil, or construction projects.
- Proficient in operating Total Station, GPS Survey Equipment, and other surveying instruments.
- Familiar with infrastructure and earthwork construction processes.
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings and survey data.
- Strong site coordination and contractor management skills.
- Good understanding of construction quality and safety standards.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and basic survey software.
- Willing to work on Cikande project site and travel when required.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able speaking in english
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industrial, infrastructure, or land development projects.
- Knowledge in setting out works, earthwork survey, and as-built survey preparation.
- Familiarity with drone survey or GIS software will be an added advantage.
