Job Requirements:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree or above in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering Cost, or a related discipline.Exceptional candidates may be considered with a diploma.
Work Experience:
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in commercial/QS roles within the construction industry.
Skill Requirements:
• Proficient in using Glodon quantity surveying software for settlement work.
• With the ability to handle commercial correspondence and daily communication effectively.
• Familiar with and knowledgeable about local calculation rules (SMM2), with priority given to those with relevant project experience.
• Sound knowledge of quantity take-off rules and fundamental cost engineering principles.
• Familiar with FIDIC contract conditions or local standard contract forms (e.g., PAM/CIDB) is an advantage.
Responsibilities and Abilities:
• Supervise and manage the settlement work of construction projects, including cost accounting in all aspects.
• Coordinate settlement matters with suppliers and contractors, ensuring accurate and timely payment and collection.
• Review and verify settlement documents to ensure compliance with contract agreements.
• Collaborate with the project team, provide analysis and recommendations, and support project decisions.
Language Requirements:
• Proficient in written and spoken Chinese, English, and Malaysia
