Key Responsibilities:
Conduct market research on global trends
Conducting product samples test to ensure it suit local preferences
Build and maintain relationships with overseas factories (Vietnam & China)
Verify product specifications (ingredients, dimensions, pricing, packaging)
Negotiate product costs and Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs)
Ensure the completeness of BPOM, Halal certification, ML Number, and trademark documents
Verify HS Codes and label compliance (stick-on labels) with local regulations
Prepare contracts and shipping documents (Packing List, Commercial Invoice, Bill of Lading)
Create schedules for sample and bulk shipments to meet product launch targets
Coordinate with logistics and freight forwarding teams to ensure smooth delivery
Research competitor pricing in the local market
Prepare cost analysis reports to maintain company profit margins
Collaborate with the sales team to determine pricing strategies
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree (Food Tech/Business/Logistics Management is a plus)
3-5 years experience in Product Development specifically for imported FMCG products
Knowledge of import documentation (Incoterms, L/C, Bill of Lading)
Familiarity with BPOM & Halal certification processes for imported goods
Strong cost analysis and negotiation skills
Proficient in English (both written and verbal) and Ms. Excel
