Commercial & Channel Development (Modern Trade & E-commerce)
PENNYU — a manufacturer of water tanks, bio-septic tanks, and SNI-certified plumbing products — is looking for a hands-on channel builder to grow our sales across modern trade and e-commerce. You'll build from the ground up: breaking into new outlets and marketplaces, negotiating programs, and growing the team as the channels expand.
Responsibilities:
Develop channel strategy and mix (modern trade, e-commerce, and others).
Lead negotiations and relationships with modern-trade chains and marketplace platforms (Shopee/Tokopedia/TikTok Shop).
Drive penetration into new outlets/chains and marketplaces.
Protect margin, pricing, and brand consistency across channels.
Manage field execution (coordinator & team) and performance reporting.
Qualifications:
Commercial experience in modern trade AND/OR e-commerce (background in building materials, consumer durables, hardware).
Strong trade negotiation skills + solid grasp of marketplace mechanics (ads, listings, conversion).
Analytical — comfortable with margin, pricing, and channel mix.
Builder mindset: ready to start with a small team and roll up your sleeves.
Disciplined, honest with data, and reliable in reporting.
AI-literate — uses AI/tools for research and optimization.
