Tunas Industrial Estate is looking for an experienced HSE Supervisor with Fire Safety Specialization to oversee health, safety, environmental, and fire protection programs across the industrial estate. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with HSE regulations, maintain fire prevention systems, coordinate emergency preparedness activities, and foster a proactive safety culture to protect employees, tenants, and company assets.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs across the industrial estate.
- Develop and monitor Fire Safety Management programs in accordance with Indonesian regulations and international standards.
- Conduct fire risk assessments and implement mitigation measures to minimize fire hazards.
- Ensure proper inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems, including:
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Fire Hydrant Systems
- Automatic Sprinkler Systems
- Fire Pumps
- Fire Extinguishers (APAR)
- Smoke Detection Systems
- Emergency Lighting & Exit Signage
- Plan and coordinate emergency response drills, fire evacuation exercises, and firefighting training.
- Conduct routine HSE inspections, safety audits, and workplace observations.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and fire-related events, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure contractor compliance with HSE and fire safety requirements.
- Maintain HSE documentation, fire safety records, permits, and regulatory reports.
- Coordinate with government authorities during HSE and fire safety inspections.
- Deliver HSE and fire safety awareness training to employees and contractors.
- Promote continuous improvement of HSE and fire protection performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum **3 years** of experience in HSE, with experience in Fire Safety Management.
- Experience in industrial estates, manufacturing plants, construction projects, or commercial facilities.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Fire Protection Systems
- Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting
- Emergency Response
- Risk Assessment
- Incident Investigation
- Permit to Work (PTW)
- Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)
- HIRADC / JSA
- Familiar with Indonesian HSE regulations, fire safety standards, and SMK3 implementation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Able to conduct HSE training and emergency drills.
- Willing to be based in Batam.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified AK3 Umum.
- Certified Ahli K3 Kebakaran (AK3 Fire) is highly preferred.
- Experience implementing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems.
- Experience working in industrial estates or heavy industries.
- Familiar with emergency response planning and crisis management.
