Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Fleet Management:
· Manage the quantity and condition of trucks to ensure operational readiness.
· Schedule and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance.
· Ensure all vehicle documents are complete and up to date (vehicle registration, roadworthiness certificates, etc.).
· should knows the special managing rule of the Semarang port regarding trucks entering into the port for tranportaton of import and export goods..
2. Delivery Operations:
· Plan and organize efficient delivery routes.
· Supervise loading processes and vehicle dispatch.
· Ensure timely deliveries that meet quality standards.
3. Driver Management:
· Recruit, train, and schedule drivers.
· Evaluate driver performance and provide guidance when needed.
· Handle driver discipline and resolve any complaints or issues.
4. Monitoring and Reporting:
· Monitor fuel usage and vehicle efficiency.
· Track truck locations in real-time using GPS or telemetry systems.
· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on fleet activities.
· Operational Cost Control:
· Oversee expenses related to the fleet (fuel, tolls, maintenance, etc.).
· Recommend cost-saving strategies without compromising service quality.
5. Compliance and Safety:
· Ensure all fleet operations comply with traffic laws and workplace safety regulations.
· Manage incidents on the road such as accidents, fines, or violations.
6. Cross-Department Coordination:
· Collaborate with the logistics, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure smooth distribution operations.
General Qualifications:
· Minimum D3/Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Logistics, Transportation, or Management.
· At least 3 years of experience in transportation/logistics, especially fleet management.
· Proficient in Transport Management Systems (TMS), GPS tracking, and vehicle maintenance.
· Strong leadership skills, decisive, and able to work under pressure.
· Willing to be mobile and work in the field as needed.
