Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed structural and civil drawings, layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and fabrication details using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and other relevant software.
- Develop structural steel detailing, reinforced concrete drawings, foundation layouts, and other civil engineering drawings based on engineering calculations and design requirements.
- Interpret engineering calculations, specifications, project requirements, and contract documents to produce accurate construction drawings.
- Coordinate structural designs with architectural, mechanical, piping, and electrical engineering disciplines to identify and resolve design conflicts.
- Revise and update drawings based on engineering comments, client requirements, and field changes.
- Ensure all drawings comply with applicable engineering codes, standards, client specifications, and company drafting standards.
- Prepare material take-offs and support quantity estimation for structural and civil works.
- Maintain proper document control, drawing revisions, and engineering records.
- Assist during design reviews, project meetings, and technical coordination with clients and contractors when required.
- Support site engineers by providing drawing clarifications and resolving design-related issues during project execution.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer.
- With 2–5 years of relevant experience in structural design, preferably in industrial plants, boiler systems, steel fabrication, EPC, or heavy engineering projects.
- Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, and Microsoft Office.
- Thorough knowledge of the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP), the National Building Code, and other applicable engineering standards.
- Experience in structural steel design, reinforced concrete design, and foundation engineering.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engineering projects and meet project deadlines.
