The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules for high-rise residential construction projects. This role supports project teams by ensuring accurate planning, sequencing, and progress tracking across multiple lump-sum projects, working closely with project managers, field leadership, and general contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed baseline schedules in Primavera for residential projects
- Collaborate with Construction Managers to define scope sequencing, durations, and resource loading
- Participate in project planning, preconstruction, and coordination meetings
- Review subcontractor and vendor schedules to ensure alignment
- Assist with claims support and delay analysis as needed
- Help standardize scheduling practices and improve internal processes
- To be assigned in Head Office based with occasional site visits
- Perform schedule updates, progress tracking, and variance analysis
- Identify critical path activities and potential project delays
- Provide recovery plans and mitigation strategies when schedule risks arise
- Support monthly schedule reporting included in project reports
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction scheduling or programming
- Proven proficiency in Primavera (required)
- Strong understanding of commercial construction sequencing and trade coordination
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with both field and executive teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Licensed Construction Management or Engineering degree
- Experience in multi-project scheduling environments
- Familiarity with resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules
- Knowledge of delay analysis techniques
