Job Role
The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving offline sales growth, expanding distribution channels, and strengthening the company's presence across the HORECA and retail markets in Bali. The role focuses on business development, customer acquisition, channel management, sales team leadership, and execution of field marketing initiatives that directly contribute to revenue growth.
Working closely with the Director and commercial team, the successful candidate will lead customer relationship development with hotels, restaurants, cafés, beach clubs, wholesalers, distributors, and other strategic business partners. This position is highly suitable for experienced FMCG sales professionals with strong networks within Bali's hospitality and beverage sectors who possess a proven track record of delivering sustainable commercial growth through hands-on market execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute offline sales strategies to expand market penetration across HORECA, retail, and distribution channels in Bali.
- Identify, acquire, and develop new business opportunities with hotels, restaurants, cafés, beach clubs, wholesalers, distributors, and other commercial customers.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with key accounts to maximize customer retention and recurring business.
- Manage and expand distributor networks while ensuring effective market coverage and sales execution.
- Conduct regular customer visits, business presentations, negotiations, and commercial meetings to generate new sales opportunities.
- Lead, coach, monitor, and evaluate the performance of the sales team to ensure achievement of sales objectives and operational discipline.
- Plan and execute offline marketing activities, product sampling, promotional events, and customer engagement programs to increase brand visibility.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer buying behavior, and pricing developments to support commercial decision-making.
- Prepare sales forecasts, performance analyses, pipeline reports, and commercial updates for management review.
- Achieve monthly sales targets, revenue growth, customer acquisition objectives, and overall commercial performance indicators.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or any related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales & Marketing within FMCG, beverages, food & beverage, HORECA, or related industries.
- Proven experience selling bottled water, premium beverages, wines, spirits, or other beverage products through offline distribution channels.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial or team leadership role.
- Strong existing network within Bali's HORECA industry, including hotels, restaurants, cafés, bars, beach clubs, beverage distributors, wholesalers, and hospitality operators.
- Demonstrated success in business development, distributor management, customer acquisition, and key account management.
- Strong understanding of offline sales execution, territory development, channel expansion, and customer relationship management.
- Experience leading, coaching, and managing sales teams while driving performance against commercial targets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare sales reports, monitor performance, evaluate pricing strategies, and analyze market opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly independent, proactive, results-oriented, and capable of operating effectively with minimal supervision.
- Professional English communication skills, both written and spoken, are required for communication with management, customers, and headquarters.
