On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced sales professional with a strong background in Industrial Automation & Drive & Control Technology, particularly in gearmotors, industrial gear units, electric motors, VFDs, servo systems, and motion control solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and drive the sales team to achieve revenue and business growth targets.

  2. Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share and customer base.

  3. Manage direct sales, distributor channels, and key customer accounts.

  4. Build strong relationships with customers, distributors, and strategic partners.

  5. Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and major project opportunities.

  6. Lead sales negotiations and manage projects from prospecting to closing.

  7. Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and monitor account performance, including collections.

  8. Recruit, coach, and develop the sales team while collaborating with internal teams to deliver customer solutions.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of proven success in direct sales, account management, or business development within automation Drive & Control Technology industry.

  2. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

  3. Strong people management, mentorship, and motivational skills to drive team performance.

  4. Ability to interpret complex sales data, financial metrics, and market trends.

  5. Advanced experience with CRM platforms, pipeline reporting tools, and SAP.

  6. Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with key corporate clients and senior stakeholders.

  7. Strong understanding of and commitment to compliance and business ethics.

  8. Strong relationships within the Mining, Power, Paper, F&B, Palm Oil, Port, and Material Handling industries.
