About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Fashion Bags Supply Chain Development Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing suppliers, sourcing materials, coordinating production, and ensuring product quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery for bags and luggage products.
Key Responsibilities
Source, develop, and manage suppliers for bags, luggage, leather goods, and related materials in Indonesia and neighboring countries.
Build and maintain a reliable supplier database.
Manage the entire sourcing process, including sampling, quotation, price negotiation, purchase orders, production follow-up, and delivery.
Monitor product quality, production schedules, and cost control.
Resolve production and supplier-related issues efficiently.
Work closely with the Product Development and Design teams to transform product concepts into mass-production-ready products.
Good Communicate and report to overseas teams in Mandarin or English.
Conduct regular factory visits in Jakarta, Tangerang, Bandung, and surrounding manufacturing areas.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Development, Sourcing, or Vendor Development within the bags, luggage, footwear, fashion accessories, or related industries.
Strong knowledge of bag materials (PU, leather, fabric, hardware, etc.), manufacturing processes, and cost structures is highly preferred.
Fluent in Mandarin or English, both written and spoken.
Based in Jakarta or willing to work in Jakarta.
Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
Willing to travel frequently for factory visits.
