Position Overview
As a Project Manager, your primary focus will be the end-to-end management, steering, and successful delivery of IT projects. You will assume full ownership of project planning, execution, monitoring, and closing to ensure all deliverables align with client requirements and strategic business objectives.
This role demands a delivery-oriented professional who can champion Agile frameworks, optimize resource utilization, proactively mitigate risks, and maintain peak team performance. You will act as the central point of contact, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to world-class quality standards, directly impacting our clients' digital transformation journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery Execution (Primary Focus):
Define project scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation mapping to ensure seamless execution.
Monitor project progress meticulously, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality baselines.
Implement and champion Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to ensure high team responsiveness, flexibility, and sprint velocity.
Manage, track, and optimize project budgets, expenditures, and financial forecasting.
Drive project closing activities, ensuring proper handovers, post-mortem reviews, and documentation of lessons learned.
Risk Management & Quality Assurance:
Proactively identify, assess, and document potential project risks, bottlenecks, and scope creeps.
Develop and execute robust risk mitigation and contingency plans to minimize project disruption.
Ensure all technical deliverables meet FPT's global quality standards and client specifications before deployment.
Stakeholder Management & Team Leadership:
Lead, inspire, and coordinate cross-functional project teams consisting of developers, business analysts, QA engineers, and infrastructure specialists.
Maintain clear, effective, and transparent communication lines with internal teams, external partners, and client-side stakeholders.
Prepare and present detailed project status reports, velocity charts, and roadmap updates to executive management and client steering committees.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor’s Degree (S1) from any major (IT, Computer Science, Business, or Management-related disciplines are preferred).
* 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience specifically in IT Project Management or managing software development projects.
Technical & Professional Skills:
*Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project management principles.
*Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
*High proficiency in project management and collaboration tools, specifically Trello, Jira, or equivalent platforms.
*Strong skills in project planning, milestone tracking, timeline creation, and resource forecasting.
*Proven ability to execute project coordination across distributed or matrixed technical teams.
