- Field Collection Team Leader is responsible for managing and supervising a team of field collectors to ensure the timely recovery of delinquent accounts. The role oversees route planning, agent deployment, performance monitoring, and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- The Team Leader serves as the key link between field operations and management, ensuring efficient execution of on-ground collection strategies and accurate reporting of field results.
- Field Collection Team Leader should exhibit professionalism, trustworthiness and possess excellent communication, probing and negotiation skills, as well as an ability to work independently.
- Ensure overage of all assigned accounts, prioritizing based on the campaign / strategy deployed for the Team such as but not limited to prioritization based on location, DPD, bucket level, and customer risk segmentation.
- Monitor agent performance, including number of visits, PTP obtained, payments collected, and accounts updated.
- Conduct spot checks and field audits to validate visit activities and compliance.
- Coordinate with Tele-Collections and Skip-Tracing Teams to maximize contact reach before and after visits.
- Supervise, train, and mentor field collectors to meet recovery and compliance targets.
- Conduct daily huddles and weekly performance reviews to discuss results, issues, and
improvement plans.
- Provide field coaching to improve negotiation, professionalism, and documentation accuracy.
- Address attendance, route adherence, and productivity concerns promptly.
- This role is reporting to Field Collection Manager.
Qualification:
- Owns motorcycle
- Owns smartphone
- With experience in Collections with at least 1 year experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong background in collections operations and knowledge of bucket/dpd management
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational, reporting, and problem-solving abilities
- Willing to attend a 1-week training at our BGC Offiec
