Responsibilities
Ensure that the produced feed meets physical quality standards (water stability, pellet durability, floatability) and strict regulatory requirements
Design and oversee laboratory and on-farm feeding trials to test formula efficacy, palatability, and cost-saving metrics
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to transition lab-scale formulas into commercial-scale extrusion and pelleting
Assess the nutritional value, digestibility, and cost of raw materials, prioritizing sustainable and local alternatives
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Aquaculture Nutrition, Animal Science, or Biology
3 years experience as a Feed R&D or Formulator in Aquaculture Company
Strong understanding of fish/shrimp physiology, aquatic digestion, and feed manufacturing technology
Proficiency in least-cost formulation software and laboratory data analysis
