Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Animal Science, or related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in R&D for meat or processed food industry, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of meat processing, preservation techniques, and product formulation.
Familiar with food safety systems (HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP).
Experience in product development from concept to commercialization.
Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Good project management and time management skills.
Job Decription:
Lead and manage product development activities for meat-based products (fresh, processed, and ready-to-eat).
Develop innovative products aligned with market trends, customer needs, and company strategy.
Conduct research on ingredients, formulations, processing methods, and shelf-life improvement.
Oversee product trials, pilot runs, and commercialization processes to ensure successful product launches.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality Assurance, Marketing, Procurement).
Ensure all products comply with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards.
Perform cost optimization and continuous improvement on existing products.
Monitor competitor products and industry trends to maintain product competitiveness.
Manage documentation related to product development (recipes, specifications, SOPs).
Lead and develop the R&D team, including training and performance management.
