RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment
- Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use
- Promotes safe practices at the job site
- Enforces safety guidelines
- Establishes safety standards and policies as needed
- Monitor the safety of all workers and work to protect them from entering hazardous situations
- Coordinate with HRD on relevant issues
- Perform any related task that may be assigned from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least a Senior High School graduate.
- Proven work experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of occupational safety standards, hazardous materials, and safe work practices.
- Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Certification (40-hour training).
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
