Architect

• PT Internusa Jayaabadi Sentosa (IJS) is a professional services company supporting clients across various industries. We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Architect to join our team, with placement in  Labuan Bajo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, Urban Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in architectural design and project/site supervision.
• Proven experience in hospitality, commercial, mixed use, luxury residential, or other high end development projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage both design development and on-site project execution.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit/BIM, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Project Management tools.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, detailing, building materials, and coordination processes.
• Experienced in consultant coordination, shop drawing review, and resolving construction issues on site.
• Solid knowledge of local building regulations and construction standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure, manage multiple stakeholders, and meet tight project deadlines.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design development from concept, schematic design, design development (DD), through to construction documentation.
• Review and ensure design drawings are technically feasible, well-coordinated, and aligned with project requirements.
• Supervise architectural works on site to ensure quality, detailing, material application, and finishing standards are delivered according to the approved design intent.
• Coordinate closely with MEP, structural, interior, and other consultants to minimize clashes and improve constructability.
• Conduct regular site inspections, identify potential issues proactively, and provide technical solutions throughout the construction process.
• Manage design revisions, Requests for Information (RFIs), material approvals, shop drawings, mock-ups, and consultant coordination.
• Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with approved schedules, budgets, and operational objectives.
• Support value engineering initiatives while maintaining design quality, functionality, and project standards.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise architectural team members, draftsmen, and external consultants.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including owners, operators, consultants, and contractors, to ensure successful project delivery.
