About the role
As an Sales Engineer , you will play a vital role in driving the company's sales initiatives in the Batam Kota Riau Islands region. This full-time position requires an individual with a strong background in mechanical engineering to engage with clients, identify new business opportunities, and deliver exceptional customer service.
What you'll be doing
Developing sales strategies, including special promotions and campaigns
Providing regular sales reports and updates to management
Prospecting for new clients and generating sales leads through networking and market research
Preparing and presenting sales proposals and pitches to potential customers
Leading, motivating and managing the team to meet or exceed targets
Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities
Achieving individual and team sales targets and KPIs
What we're looking for
A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the engineering or Shipyard & Oil & Gas industry
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of mechanical engineering principles and applications
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal & Mandarin speaking ability is a strong advantage.
