SD and SMA Presiden (Jababeka, Cikarang) is seeking a passionate and engaging Part-Time Coding Teacher to introduce students to the fundamentals of programming and computational thinking.
Job Description:
- Plan and deliver engaging coding extracurricular classes for Elementary and Senior High School students.
- Teach coding fundamentals, computational thinking, and digital literacy using age-appropriate platforms and programming languages.
- Introduce students to coding tools such as Scratch, Python, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
- Design hands-on projects and activities that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Education Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or Scratch.
- Experience teaching coding, computer science, robotics, or STEM-related subjects to school-age students.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for different age groups, from elementary to senior high school students.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for education and technology, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
