We are seeking an Information Security Operations – P1 professional to join our team and support the protection of organizational data, systems, and networks. This role participates in day-to-day security operations activities under guidance from experienced team members. Responsibilities include assisting with security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and operational security processes while developing foundational cybersecurity knowledge and skills.
In this role, you will play a key part in identifying potential threats, performing cybersecurity audits, and responding to breaches while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies and best practices. The Security Analyst is essential for maintaining the integrity of our systems and protecting sensitive information across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Replace stronger ownership language with support-focused wording:

  • Assist in the implementation and operation of security controls and measures.
  • Monitor security alerts and events and escalate issues according to documented procedures.
  • Support vulnerability scanning and remediation tracking activities.
  • Assist with security assessments, audits, and testing activities.
  • Follow established cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Apply security concepts under guidance from senior team members.
  • Maintain documentation of security activities and findings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support security initiatives.
  • Support incident intake, triage, and tracking activities aligned with SLAs and escalation procedures.
  • Assist with ticket management and operational security tasks.
  • Support remediation activities by coordinating with technical teams as directed.
  • Assist with deployment, configuration, and maintenance of security tools and technologies.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, or related field.
  • Foundational understanding of network security and systems.
  • Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM or vulnerability scanners.
  • Basic understanding of incident response processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience working in enterprise IT environments supporting system operations or service delivery.
  • Familiarity with incident tracking, ticketing systems, and SLA-based support models.
  • Basic understanding of Windows systems, server environments, and networking fundamentals.
  • Ability to coordinate across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Entry-level certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH).
  • Exposure to cloud security environments.
  • Experience supporting enterprise system deployments or integrations.
  • Experience working in healthcare technology, regulated industries, or environments with compliance and security requirements

Compensation

The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. This range may also be subject to change as market conditions evolve. We encourage open communication throughout the interview process to discuss compensation expectations. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.

Min – Max :

$64,061.88 - $96,092.82 (USD)
