Sr. Specialist Green Factory
Responsibility:
Sustainability Data & Monitoring: continuously improve the monthly collection and consolidation of sustainability, implement and manage digital factory energy and resource monitoring systems and closely monitor sites sustainability targets and provide relevant insights to management on a tri-annual basis to ensure the sites sustainability targets are met.
Green Factory & Continuous Improvement: support the company’s Green Factory roadmap by identifying and implementing opportunities to improve environmental performance and operational efficiency. Conduct technical analyses of manufacturing processes and systems, Identify and evaluate opportunities to reduce energy, develop and coordinate with the decarbonization lead to support forecasting and monitoring of emissions trajectories.
Assess new facility and equipment investments from a sustainability perspective, drive the annual Sustainability CAPEX planning process, ensuring that improvement opportunities are captured and prioritized.
Build high-performance green factories and advance regenerative technologies. Experience in sustainability assessment of industrial equipment or facility investments. Proven ability to identify efficiency improvement opportunities and recommend effective solutions. Strong expertise in carbon accounting and LCA, experience in ISO 14001 Energy management (ISO 50001).
Working closely with teams in Shenzhen-China, Batam-Indonesia, Prilep-North Macedonia, Essen-Germany and Lucerne-Switzerland. Support the identification and implementation of practical improvements in energy, water, and resource efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, mechanical and industrial engineering, with minimum 6 years’ working experience in the same position.
Strong support to re-think how manufacturing can operate more efficiently and responsibly, strengthen how we measure and improve the environmental performance of our manufacturing operations.
Solid understanding of industrial manufacturing processes, especially injection molding, tooling, die casting, pulp tray production and cooling systems.
Good technical knowledge of digital factory energy/resource monitoring systems and data analysis.
Fluent in English, solid skill for Microsoft office, good attitude with adaptability to company culture and seek for continuous improvement.
Good interpersonal communication and influence skills, problem solving skills, ability or logic to assess problems and take the appropriate course of action, able to handle multi-task and perform well under pressure.
