Job Summary
Our client is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting, ensure the accuracy of accounting processes, and lead the accounting team. This role is responsible for maintaining financial integrity, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing financial insights that support strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations
• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Monitor cash flow, bank balances, and financial transactions.
• Implement and enforce financial controls and compliance standards.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, and overall financial performance.
• Identify financial risks and recommend proactive solutions.
• Lead and manage month-end closing activities.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
• Prepare and present weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly financial reports.
• Provide actionable financial insights to support management decision-making.
• Assist in budget planning, review, and finalization.
• Ensure timely submission of reports to government agencies (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
• Stay updated on tax laws and regulatory changes, and advise management on their impact.
• Help maintain the organization's overall financial health and stability.
Leadership & Administration
• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of four (4) accounting staff.
• Monitor team performance based on KPIs and job expectations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Manage administrative tasks such as attendance monitoring and approval processes.
• Foster collaboration with internal departments and stakeholders.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• CPA license is an advantage but not required.
• 5–7 years of experience in a managerial accounting role.
• Strong experience using accounting systems (e.g., Helix, Xero, or similar platforms).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: ?50,000–?60,000 per month.
Work Details
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Compressed Work Schedule).
• Location: Metro Manila.
• Work Setup: Onsite.
