Ideal candidate for this position will be someone with criteria below:
7–10 years experience in plastic injection molding, with 3+ years in leadership roles
Expert in mold setup, process optimization, troubleshooting, and resin handling (ABS, PP, PC, etc.).
Skilled with injection machines (Arburg, Toshiba, Haitian, Nissei) and familiar with ISO 9001/14001 systems.
Data-driven, tracks performance using OEE, ERP, and production metrics to improve efficiency.
Strong floor leadership — hands-on, calm under pressure, and effective at managing 30–100 operators.
Promotes continuous improvement, preventive maintenance, and waste reduction.
Balances discipline and empathy, developing teams while ensuring high productivity and quality.
Known for reliability, accountability, and innovation, ensuring smooth, efficient, and cost-effective production.
Job description for Molding production asst manager are as follows:
Lead and supervise day-to-day production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
Monitor production schedules and adjust resources as needed to optimize efficiency.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Logistics.
Prepare and analyze production reports, KPIs, and operational metrics.
Manage and mentor production team members; foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Assist in planning manpower and equipment needs based on forecast and production plans.
