PERSOL Indonesia is currently assisting one of our clients, a Japanese company in restaurant/FnB industry (running several restaurant chain in Indonesia) as a Head of Finance
Working Location: South Jakarta
Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Accounting, Finance, and Tax Department (4 team members)
1 Tax staff
3 Finance & Accunting staff
Oversee monthly and annual financial closing activities
Review and approve financial statements, accounting reports, and tax documentation
Participate in regular financial meetings with the Singapore Regional Headquarters
Prepare monthly financial reports for the Japan Headquarters and attend reporting meetings
Coordinate with external accounting firms, tax consultants, and auditors
Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations
Improve accounting workflows and strengthen internal controls
Monitor budgets, financial performance, and key business indicators
Support accounting and finance process changes related to the franchise business transfer to Singapore
Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management
Lead and develop the accounting team while overseeing overall department operations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from accounting, economics, business administration or relevant major
Min. 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, taxation, and financial management roles, ideally from same industry (F&B) but can try from any industry as well
Min. 5 years of people management or leadership experience
Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment
(preferred) Japanese Skill min. N2 for internal communication with RHQ CEO and BoD (Japanese people) and the Japan HQ
English Intermediate level or above
