Head Chef Requirements – BARTOLO BALI
1. Qualifications & Experience
- Min. 2 years experience as Head Chef, Senior Sous Chef, or equivalent position in a restaurant/hotel.
- Experience leading a kitchen team of min. 8–15 people.
- Experience handling Western cuisine, steak, or bistro concepts is preferred.
- Food Safety/HACCP certification and culinary school certification are a plus.
2. Skills & Abilities
- Proficient in cooking techniques, plating, and cost control.
- Able to develop new menus, calculate food cost, and maintain consistent taste.
- Strong in team management: scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
- Detail-oriented in food hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen SOPs.
- Able to work under pressure and meet fast service targets.
3. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all kitchen operations and ensure dish quality.
- Manage inventory, place orders for raw materials, and minimize waste.
- Develop seasonal menus and special menus together with the team.
- Maintain standards for taste, portion, and presentation according to the restaurant concept.
- Coordinate with FOH and purchasing for smooth operations.
4. Others
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Communicative, assertive, and has a positive attitude.
- Based in Bali or willing to relocate to Bali (Uluwatu - Pecatu)
