About the role
BPK PENABUR Jakarta (SPK) is seeking a passionate and experienced School Counselor to join our dedicated international school team in West Jakarta, Jakarta. This is a full-time role that will play a crucial part in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of our diverse student body.
What you'll be doing
Provide individual and group counselling to students, addressing a range of personal, social, and academic concerns
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to identify and address the unique needs of each student
Develop and implement evidence-based programmes to promote student wellbeing, conflict resolution, and positive behaviours
Serve as a resource for students, families, and staff on mental health, academic support, and referral services
Maintain detailed records and confidential case files to ensure the highest standards of care
Contribute to the overall school community through participation in extracurricular activities and special events
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in Psychology or Counseling
Proficient in English (CEFR B2 or higher)
Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
Skills in Student Counseling, Counseling, and Career Counseling
Strong knowledge in Psychology and Mental Health
