Yukerja Summary

The Business Development Manager (F&B) role at Delta Marine Group is curated from JobStreet (category Marketing & Penjualan). Note the work location (Sidoarjo, East Java) before applying. Yukerja.com is not the employer — applications are handled on the official source site.

About the Role

Delta Marine Group is launching a new consumer brand: a frozen, ready-to-eat seafood product line for retail markets, with plans to grow beyond Indonesia into the wider region. This is a ground-up build. We have the manufacturing base (recently expanded processing facilities) and strong retail relationships already in motion. What we need now is someone to own the brand, product, and go-to-market execution.

You'll report directly to the C-suite and work as a close thinking partner on this venture, not just executing a plan, but helping shape it. This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to build something real from the early stages, not manage an existing, established brand.

What You'll Own

  • End-to-end brand development for the new product line: identity, positioning, and packaging, working with our packaging suppliers

  • Product line direction, in partnership with third-party recipe and food formulation experts

  • Coordination with our internal manufacturing team on production specs, capacity, and order fulfillment

  • Retail buyer and distributor relationship management, primarily supporting domestic go-to-market efforts, with growing involvement in select regional retail partnerships over time

  • Market and competitive research to define our niche and category positioning

  • Go-to-market and retail listing strategy, with a strong preference for building our own brand (open to private-label partnerships selectively)

  • Acting as a genuine sounding board to the C-suite. We want someone who will push back and improve our thinking, not just agree with it

  • Over time, helping evaluate and onboard future hires as the team grows

What We're Looking For

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or business development. FMCG or F&B strongly preferred

  • A track record of taking a product from concept toward an actual market or retail listing (early-stage / 0-to-1 experience valued highly; this is not a role with an established team or system behind it)

  • Comfortable operating with significant ambiguity and minimal supervision

  • Strong communication and negotiation instincts. You'll be talking to retail buyers, vendors, and internal stakeholders

  • Willingness to travel as the role and regional relationships develop

  • A plus: experience in frozen/chilled food, seafood, or exposure to the broader Southeast Asian FMCG retail landscape

  • A plus: interest in eventually helping build and lead a team, not just executing individually

What We Offer

  • Direct reporting line to the C-Suite, with real ownership over a new brand from day one

  • The opportunity to build something from scratch rather than inherit an existing structure

  • Competitive compensation based on experience

  • Clear path to grow into a leadership role as this business line and the broader BD function scale
