Job Requirements
- Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Industrial Technology, BS Mechatronics, or a related engineering/technical degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven design/drafting experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial process environment.
- Proficiency in 2D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Working knowledge of 3D modeling and plant design tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Plant 3D).
- Competency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of P&ID conventions, GA views, fabrication techniques, and small-bore instrument tubing systems.
- Exceptional accuracy when reviewing engineering specifications and geometric dimensions.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with strong interpersonal skills for team and client interactions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and systematically organize engineering files.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain P&ID, GA and Fabrication drawings for various engineering projects.
- Interpret engineering specifications and project requirements into accurate CAD designs.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet technical and safety standards.
- Manage and organize CAD files and drawing revisions in accordance with company procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for CAD-related queries within the department.
- Support continuous improvement of CAD standards and workflows.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes and internal quality standards.
