KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Plant Manager or in a managerial position within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the building materials or concrete block industry.
Strong understanding of production processes, maintenance, quality control, warehousing, logistics, and overall plant operations management.
Proven experience in improving productivity, cost efficiency, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and developing and evaluating operational systems.
Able to conduct operational audits, identify issues, and develop as well as implement improvement programs across multiple sites.
Experience in plant turnaround management or multi-site operational development is an advantage.
Strong leadership skills with a solid understanding of modern leadership concepts and the ability to build and develop productive, disciplined teams.
Capable of effectively conducting coaching, mentoring, and employee performance evaluations.
Excellent communication, coordination, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in additional foreign languages is an advantage.
Willing to travel extensively and work across all company sites based on operational requirements.
Demonstrates high integrity, discipline, assertiveness, and a strong results-oriented mindset.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and oversee all concrete block and mortar plant operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and achievement of company targets.
Plan, control, and ensure the achievement of production targets in terms of quantity, quality, and on-time delivery.
Ensure that production processes comply with quality standards, product specifications, and established operational procedures.
Monitor raw material availability, material usage, and production costs to maintain operational efficiency.
Ensure that all machinery, production equipment, and plant facilities are maintained in optimal condition through scheduled maintenance and repair programs.
Analyze production, quality, and operational issues, and implement sustainable corrective and improvement actions.
Conduct operational audits and provide support for performance improvement and management system enhancement across other company sites as required.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, product quality, cost efficiency, and workplace safety.
Lead, coach, and develop plant operational teams to foster a disciplined, productive, and results-oriented work culture.
Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards, 5R/5S practices, and all company policies and regulations.
Prepare operational reports, analyze plant performance, and provide strategic recommendations to management for business development and operational improvement.
Coordinate with related departments, including PPIC, Purchasing, Quality Control, Warehouse, Sales, and Engineering, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
