Role Title: Kiembu Bilingual Expert Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging Kiembu Bilingual Experts to participate in a dynamic language project for a valued customer. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work - Transcribe video and audio materials in Kiembu, clearly outlining precise timestamps for each segment. - Provide detailed analysis of speaker emotions and tone across multimedia content. - Evaluate and annotate grammar usage, sentence construction, and overall linguistic features in Kiembu communication. - Define and explain conceptual meanings and cultural nuances of selected Kiembu words and phrases. - Participate in complex language tasks, including contextual analysis and high-level translation or interpretation undertakings. - Deliver clear, concise written and verbal feedback to support the project’s linguistic objectives. - Ensure all deliverables meet specified quality standards and project guidelines. Preferred Qualifications - Exceptional bilingual fluency in Kiembu and English, with advanced written and verbal communication skills. - In-depth understanding of Kiembu grammar, syntax, and cultural context. - Experience in transcription, linguistic annotation, or related language-based projects. - Strong analytical capabilities to assess emotion, tone, and speaker intent. - Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality, accurate deliverables. - Ability to work independently and consistently on intricate language tasks. - Background or interest in linguistics, translation, or language technology is a plus.
