Location: Nusa Penida, Bali, Indonesia

Property: Boutique Resort “La Colline” (8 Rooms + 1 Private Villa)

1. Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on, guest-centric Boutique Hotel & Villa Manager (8 bungalows + 1 villa) to oversee the daily operations of our exclusive property on Nusa Penida.

You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for our guests, managing a local team (3 to 4 people), and maintaining the physical integrity of the property.

The ideal candidate is a "proactive host" and a decision maker who thrives in a remote island environment and possesses strong operational and troubleshooting skills.

He/she has an “out-of-box” thinking. The candidate helps to create an unforgettable experience for our guests.

2. Key Responsibilities

-       Guest Experience & Front of House

·         The Art of Hosting: Act as the face of the property, personally welcoming guests and ensuring their stay exceeds expectations.

·         Concierge Excellence: Organize high-quality island tours, boat transfers, and local experiences (snorkeling, Manta Ray trips, hiking, temples visits etc.). Being able to resolve different issues with the guests (medical emergency, complaints, specific requests etc).

·         Reputation Management: Maintain top-tier ratings on TripAdvisor, Booking.com, and Google through meticulous attention to detail.

-       Operations & Maintenance (Island Specific)

·         Infrastructure Oversight: Monitor and manage essential island systems: water supply (desalination/trucks), electricity (generators/PLN), and high-speed internet.

·         Villa Management: Ensure the standalone villa maintains "ultra-private" standards, including dedicated pool maintenance, unique experiences, cleanness of the property.

·         Supply Chain: Coordinate the logistics of getting high-quality food, beverage, and other supplies from mainland Bali to the island.

-       Team Leadership

·         Staff Management: Lead, train, and motivate a local team (Housekeeping, F&B, Security, Gardening).

·         Culture: Foster a professional yet warm "island hospitality" culture that balances Balinese traditions with French art of living.

-        Financials & Sales

·         Yield Management: Work with the bookings systems (Cloudbeds) and website to optimize occupancy and Room Rates (ADR).

·         Cost Control: Manage monthly budgets, payroll, and petty cash with high transparency.

·         Reporting: Provide weekly operational and financial reports to the owners.

3. Requirements & Qualifications

·         Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in Boutique Hotel or Luxury Villa or any Hospitality experience management. Experience in remote or island locations (Bali, Gili Islands, etc.) is a significant advantage.

·         Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is highly preferred to manage the local team and vendors. Other languages are a plus.

·         Problem-Solving: A "MacGyver" mindset—able to fix a problem when the nearest hardware store is a boat ride away.

·         Tech Savvy: Familiarity with PMS (Property Management Systems), OTAs, and social media.
