Overview
Our Client is looking for a Data Center Technician (IC2) to support the daily operations of its data center in Batam. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability and availability of critical IT infrastructure by performing hardware installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational support.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data center equipment operates efficiently while following operational procedures and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, maintenance, and replacement of server and network hardware.
Troubleshoot hardware-related issues and provide timely technical support.
Support rack installation, cabling, and equipment deployment.
Monitor data center infrastructure and respond to operational incidents.
Manage and update support tickets while ensuring timely issue resolution.
Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to support ongoing operations.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and follow operational procedures.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in Data Center Operations, IT Infrastructure, Hardware Support, or Network Support.
Basic understanding of server hardware, networking, cabling, and IT infrastructure.
Familiar with troubleshooting hardware issues and handling technical incidents.
Experience using ticketing systems is an advantage.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Willing to work full-time on-site in Batam.
Willing to work in a shift-based operational environment.
