About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor (English speaker) to join our operations team in Semarang, Central Java. This is a full-time position based on-site at our Semarang facility. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth logistics flow, maintaining safety standards, and leading our warehouse team to achieve operational excellence. Your ability to communicate effectively in English will be essential for coordinating with international clients and team members, whilst your supervisory expertise will drive productivity and quality across all warehouse functions.
Key responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, picking, packing and dispatching of goods
Supervise and manage warehouse staff, providing direction, training and performance feedback to ensure team efficiency and adherence to company standards
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, warehouse policies and standard operating procedures at all times
What we're looking for
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations or a similar supervisory role
Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage a warehouse team effectively
Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills for liaising with international stakeholders
In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures
Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices in warehouse environments
