Job Responsibility
Shipment monitoring: Oversee daily export and import trucking operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Documentation control: Ensure all recording and reporting of shipment data, including export/import logs and customer invoices filing neatly.
Quotation & invoicing: Review and approve quotations, monitor invoice preparation, and ensure compliance with company standards.
Vendor KPI management: Monitor vendor performance against agreed KPIs, provide feedback, and escalate issues when necessary.
Reporting: Consolidate daily operational reports and monthly summaries for management review.
Problem resolution: Handle operational issues, coordinate with vendors/customers, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 5 years in trucking operations, logistics, or freight forwarding.
Language skills: Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Analytical skills: Strong ability to monitor KPIs, analyze reports, and recommend improvements.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
Technical knowledge: Familiarity with trucking operations systems, invoicing processes, and logistics documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint)
