What You’ll Learn & Do:
- Own the production calendar — from tech pack handover to final delivery — ensuring all milestones are met.
- Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with local and international garment manufacturers, fabric mills, and trim suppliers.
- Review and approve tech packs, grading specs, fit samples, and pre-production samples (PP samples).
- Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and lead times with vendors to optimize cost and production efficiency.
- Coordinate fit sessions and product approval processes with design and QC teams.
- Monitor production progress and proactively resolve delays, quality issues, or material shortages.
- Conduct or oversee factory audits and inline/final quality inspections (IQC/FQC).
- Manage importation logistics, costing sheets, and delivery documentation in coordination with the logistics team.
- Collaborate with design and creative teams on product briefs, color stories, and range presentations.
- Analyze sales reports and customer feedback to inform buying decisions and future range planning.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in fashion merchandising, buying, or production — ideally in a combined role.
- Solid understanding of garment construction, fabric types, CMT vs FOB production models, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in managing tech packs, BOM (Bill of Materials), and production trackers.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in merchandise planning, sell-through analysis, and OTB management.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills; experience dealing with Indonesian and/or Asian manufacturers is a strong plus.
- Ability to handle multiple seasonal collections simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets; experience with ERP or PLM systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and verbal).
- Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Business, Textile Technology, or related field preferred.
