About Kiwa

At Kiwa, we are passionate about delivering exceptional coffee experiences. We are expanding our global footprint and looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and strategic individual to drive our commercial growth. If you understand the global coffee supply chain, love building relationships, and know how to close a great deal, you’ll fit right in.

Position Overview

We are seeking a versatile International Business Development & Trade Manager to spearhead our commercial expansion. In this dual-focused role, you will act as both a Sales Champion (finding new clients and expanding Kiwa’s market reach) and a Trade Negotiator (securing the best import/export deals to optimize our supply chain).

This is a highly autonomous role. You will have the freedom to work from home, but you must be ready to hit the road to meet clients, attend industry trade shows, and secure high-value partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition & Sales Growth: Identify, prospect, and close deals with new B2B clients, including distributors, supermarket chains, specialty cafes, and hospitality groups.

  • Import & Export Management: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with global coffee producers, exporters, and logistics partners to ensure the best profit margins for Kiwa.

  • Brand Expansion: Scout new market opportunities, partnership possibilities, and innovative channels to elevate the Kiwa brand globally.

  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for international partners and major clients, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term retention.

  • Market Analysis: Stay ahead of coffee market trends, green coffee commodity pricing (C-price), and competitor movements to position Kiwa strategically.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in business development, international trade, or B2B sales—specifically within the coffee, beverage, or agricultural sector.

  • Logistics Savvy: Strong understanding of import/export regulations, Incoterms, customs procedures, and global shipping logistics.

  • Negotiation Skills: A proven track record of negotiating complex contracts and securing favorable commercial pricing.

  • Flexibility & Mobility: Ability to work efficiently from home while maintaining the willingness to travel frequently to meet clients or inspect shipments.

  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French) is a major plus for dealing with international coffee-producing regions.

What We Offer

  • Flexibility: Full remote work flexibility balanced with strategic field visits.

  • Autonomy: The freedom to treat this role like your own business and truly shape the future of the Kiwa brand.

  • Compensation: Competitive base salary plus an attractive, performance-based commission structure on sales and cost-savings.

  • Growth: The opportunity to grow into a senior leadership role as the company expands.
