Job Summary

The Allocation Planner is responsible for planning, allocating, and distributing inventory across all sales channels including retail stores, wholesale, consignment, and online platforms to ensure the right products are available in the right quantities, at the right locations, and at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage store assortment, allocation quantities, planograms, and product mix according to each store's business needs.

- Develop and maintain product tiering based on sales performance and demand forecasting across all sales channels.

- Plan and execute inventory allocation for retail stores, wholesale, consignment partners, and e-commerce platforms.

- Monitor daily and weekly inventory movement and stock levels across all locations.

- Analyze inventory performance and recommend stock reallocation or inter-store transfers to balance inventory and maximize sales.

- Manage replenishment planning for stores and warehouses based on sales trends, inventory levels, and demand forecasts.

- Coordinate closely with Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure timely product distribution, including peak trading periods.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering inventory allocation, stock availability, aging inventory, sell-through performance, and replenishment status.

- Build, maintain, and continuously improve planning tools, spreadsheets, dashboards, and AI-assisted automation to enhance allocation efficiency and reporting accuracy.

- Serve as the primary coordination point between Retail Operations, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and E-commerce teams regarding inventory allocation activities.

- Continuously identify opportunities to improve allocation processes, inventory productivity, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Business Management, Supply Chain, or a related field (technical background is preferred).

- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in retail, preferably within the fashion industry, in Allocation Planning, Merchandise Planning, Inventory Planning, or Supply Chain.

- Strong understanding of inventory allocation, replenishment planning, inventory management, sell-through analysis, stock coverage (Months of Cover), and demand forecasting.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including Pivot Tables, INDEX-MATCH, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, and data analysis.

- Comfortable working with large datasets and transforming data into actionable insights.

- Familiarity with AI tools and automation technologies to support data analysis, reporting, and workflow efficiency.

- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment with excellent time management and prioritization skills.

- Experience with ERP systems, inventory management software, or BI tools (Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau) is an advantage.
