Core Duties of a Catering Services Driver
- Transport of Food & Equipment – Safely deliver prepared food, utensils, tables, chairs, and other catering supplies to event venues.
- Timely Delivery – Ensure on?time arrival and setup according to event schedule.
- Vehicle Maintenance – Perform routine checks (oil, brakes, tires) and keep vehicle clean.
- Loading & Unloading – Assist staff in carrying catering equipment and food containers.
- Safety Compliance – Follow traffic rules, secure food containers, and avoid spillage or damage.
Responsibilities Beyond Driving
- Coordination with Catering Team – Work closely with waiters, chefs, and event coordinators for smooth logistics.
- Client Interaction – Represent the company professionally when meeting clients at venues.
- Inventory Support – Help track items transported to and from events.
