Calvelo Engineered Services Corporation (CEServices) is looking for a Services Engineer – Security Systems who will be responsible for delivering technical services, preventive maintenance, corrective actions, and customer support for security and building systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and perform service, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance activities at client sites.
- Respond to assigned service calls and customer technical concerns.
- Provide technical support and guidance to fellow engineers and team members.
- Troubleshoot and work with Security Systems, particularly:
- CCTV Systems
- Access Control Systems
- Prepare detailed technical reports, including narrative, explanatory, and recommendatory reports.
- Conduct site surveys for additional installations, system requirements, and potential service opportunities.
- Monitor the progress of preventive maintenance activities and projects.
- Coordinate with supervisors, officers, dispatch/service personnel, and customers regarding service requirements.
- Ensure that all service activities are performed efficiently and in accordance with company and client standards.
- Maintain proper documentation of activities and outcomes through the company's helpdesk software and portal.
- Participate in technical trainings and seminars to continuously improve technical and professional skills.
- Promote teamwork and provide leadership and technical guidance to other engineers.
- Assist management in technical decision-making and in addressing site-related concerns.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely and effective technical services.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience or knowledge in CCTV and Access Control Systems is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Proven leadership and team coordination skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and planning skills.
- Customer-service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients.
- Adaptable and able to work under pressure and in field-based environments.
- Willing to undergo training and learn other building management and technical systems.
- Knowledge of strategic planning, risk management, or change management is an advantage.
