What does a Freelance Online Italian Teacher do at Busuu?
As a Freelance Online Italian Teacher at Busuu, you’ll play a key role in helping students learn Italian effectively and confidently. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will likely include:
Planning, preparing, and teaching online lessons (45 minutes each)for corporate clients.
1:1 Lessons:Deliver private lessons that include both language teaching andpersonalised coaching- conducting needs analyses, assessing levels, creating bespoke learning paths, checking progress during lesson time, and setting clear goals.
Group Lessons:Teach online group classes that focus on active learning and communication.
What we’re looking for in a Freelance Online Language Teacher:
C2 Level of Italian
Valid teaching certificate such as TEFL/CELTA or related university degrees
Experience in online teaching and providing 1:1 coaching or personalised learning support

Fluency in additional languages:
B1 or above in English
Bonus:Speaking more than two languages
Comfortable teaching: presentation skills, negotiations, business email etiquette, meeting management, multicultural communication, etc.
Excellent communication skills to engage and teach students
High-Speed Internet, Modern Laptop / PC with a microphone and camera
Must comply with local freelance/contractor regulations
