About the role

We are seeking a Guest Service Officer to join the team at Shishi Izakaya Lounge & Nightclub Bali, located in Badung. This is a full-time position where you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service and hospitality from the moment they arrive. As a Guest Service Officer, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences, managing guest interactions, and maintaining the highest standards of customer care. This position is essential to our operations and directly contributes to the overall success and reputation of our establishment.

Key responsibilities

  1. Greet guests upon arrival with warmth and professionalism, providing a welcoming atmosphere

  2. Check guests in and out efficiently, managing reservations and guest information accurately

  3. Answer guest enquiries regarding facilities, services, dining options, and local attractions

  4. Process guest requests and complaints promptly, resolving issues with professionalism and discretion

  5. Maintain accurate records of guest preferences and special requests for personalised service

  6. Coordinate with other departments including food and beverage, entertainment, and management to ensure seamless guest experiences

  7. Monitor guest satisfaction and provide feedback to management on service improvements

  8. Perform administrative duties including answering phones, managing correspondence, and updating guest databases

  9. Maintain a clean, organised and professional appearance at all times

  10. Assist with event coordination and guest services during busy periods and special occasions


What we're looking for

  1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification

  2. Proven experience in guest services, front office, or hospitality customer service roles

  3. Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous

  4. Strong interpersonal abilities with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service

  5. Professional appearance and demeanor with a positive and friendly attitude

  6. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  7. Proficiency with computer systems and hotel management software

  8. Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

  9. Ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst also taking independent initiative

  10. Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle guest concerns diplomatically and professionally

  11. Knowledge of Balinese culture and local attractions is preferred
