About Whatshop
Whatshop collaborates with brands and sellers across various categories to provide attractive products for our affiliate network. We are looking for a Purchasing & Sourcing Specialist who can identify, negotiate, and onboard quality products and sellers to grow our product portfolio.
Job Responsibilities:
Source and acquire new sellers, brands, and products for the Whatshop platform.
Identify trending, high-potential, and competitive products suitable for affiliate sales.
Communicate and negotiate with local and overseas suppliers regarding pricing, stock availability, MOQ, and commercial terms.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and sellers.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify product opportunities.
Coordinate product onboarding, pricing, and promotional planning with internal teams.
Monitor supplier performance, product availability, and replenishment needs.
Evaluate product performance and recommend assortment improvements.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 year of experience in Buyer, Purchasing, Procurement, Sourcing, Category Management, or related fields.
Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) for daily communication with suppliers.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Good analytical and market research skills.
Experience in e-commerce, retail, beauty, FMCG, lifestyle, or consumer products is preferred.
Able to work independently and manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
