About the role
PT Terminal Nilam Utara is a leading liquid bulk storage terminal in East Java, committed to providing safe, reliable, and efficient terminal services while maintaining the highest standards of Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE).
We are looking for a passionate and proactive Mechanical Engineer to join our Maintenance Team and support the reliability and availability of our terminal facilities and equipment.
Key responsibilities
Ensure the reliability, availability, and optimal performance of mechanical equipment to support uninterrupted terminal operations.
perform equipment inspections, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and recommend effective maintenance solutions.
perform maintenance plans, make work progress, and maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
record spare parts availability, material requirements, and maintenance inventory to ensure operational readiness.
Support the implementation of the Company's Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) policies, including risk assessment and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum GPA 3.00 from reputable university
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering
Strong knowledge of mechanical principle, mechanical drawing, Risk Assessment
Good knowledge about basic mechanical, pumps, piping systems, storage tanks, valves, Motor-Operated Valves (MOVs) and basic K3 Umum
Familiarity with relevant industry standards, safety regulations and quality management systems
Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset
Attention to detail and commitment to precision in technical work
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
