Job Description:
Develop dynamic, scalable, and responsive web applications using Alpine js & Tailwind CSS
Develop responsive, mobile-friendly websites with a focus on UI/UX best practices
Identify and resolve client-side rendering issues, maximize page loading speed, and optimize web app bundle sizes
Integrate APIs and data sources with back-end systems
Integrate secure client-to-server data communication protocols, including OAuth2, JWT, and session management.
Formulate efficient database queries, manage schemas, and handle data persistence using relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or non-relational (MongoDB) databases.
Write structured backend code utilizing PHP Laravel
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2-4 years of software engineering experience working across the stack, with a portfolio of UI-intensive products
Good knowledge of programming languages
Understanding of transportation system business processes is a plus
Good knowledge of programming languages: PHP, HTML, Javascript, CSS
Knowledge of API integrations
Experience with frameworks/tools: Alpine.js, Tailwind CSS, YII2, Laravel.
Familiarity with database systems such as Oracle and PostgreSQL
Experience with code versioning tools (Git)
Understanding of testing frameworks and QA processes
Understanding of efficient state management patterns (e.g., Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API)
Available to start immediately and open to a 6-month contract role
