Job Summary:
The Employee Relations Assistant / Associate supports the day-to-day employee relations operations by assisting in employee concern handling, case coordination, documentation, communication, and implementation of HR policies and programs. The role helps maintain positive employee relations, ensures timely administrative support, and contributes to a fair, compliant, and employee-focused workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides daily operational support for employee relations activities including case monitoring, employee concern coordination, policy implementation, and HR process assistance to ensure smooth department operations.
- Coordinates schedules, meetings, notices, documentation, and communication between employees, HR team members, and other departments while ensuring timely completion of administrative requirements.
- Assists employees by responding to basic inquiries, clarifying HR policies and procedures, and helping address employee concerns in a professional and service-oriented manner.
- Executes assigned employee relations and HR-related tasks accurately and within established timelines while following company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Maintains accurate records, prepares reports, updates monitoring files, and ensures proper documentation of employee relations cases, incidents, and administrative transactions.
- Identifies basic workplace or process concerns and assists in resolving issues through proper coordination, escalation, and compliance with company guidelines and HR policies.
- Reviews employee relations data, monitors recurring concerns, and assists in analyzing trends and process gaps to support continuous improvement initiatives within the HR department.
