Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Security Engineering Intern to join our security team for a 3-month internship. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in endpoint management, device security, and threat detection, working alongside experienced security professionals on real-world projects and day-to-day operational tasks.

  • Assist with MDM (Mobile Device Management) and EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) enrollment for new and existing devices.
  • Support maintenance and updates of MDM and EDR policies to ensure alignment with security standards.
  • Help identify, troubleshoot, and resolve MDM and EDR-related issues reported by end users or flagged by monitoring tools.
  • Assist in automating patch management processes across endpoint devices to ensure timely and consistent updates.
  • Support the security team during incident detection, investigation, and response activities.
  • Assist in maintaining, tuning, and creating security detection rules to improve threat detection accuracy.
  • Contribute to log ingestion processes and help optimize log sources for better visibility and analysis.
  • Explore AI tools and technologies to identify opportunities for enhancing security workflows.
  • Design and build automation to streamline repetitive security tasks and processes.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of endpoint security concepts (MDM, EDR, patch management) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with security concepts such as SIEM, log management, or incident response is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of AI agents and MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced security environment.
