Purpose
Manage end-to-end import operations and regulatory compliance for Indonesia, ensuring timely customs clearance, permit management, and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end import shipments and coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, PPJK, shipping lines and 3PL.
Apply, monitor and manage PI (Persetujuan Impor) for Garment, Steel and Wood products.
Manage import quotas and liaise with relevant Indonesian authorities.
Prepare and submit MOT reports accurately and on time.
Review and validate PIB drafts, AJU, SPPB and customs documentation.
Monitor PI quota utilization and ensure regulatory compliance.
Coordinate LS, COO/Form D/E, invoices, packing list, BL and insurance.
Track shipment status until delivery and resolve customs issues.
Prepare weekly, monthly, shipping reports for management review
Maintain import records and support audits.
Knowledge & Skills
In-depth knowledge of Indonesian import regulations.
Hands-on experience with PI Garment, PI Steel and PI Wood applications.
Strong knowledge of import quota management with Indonesian authorities.
Expertise in MOT report submission via INATRADE and related government portals.
Strong experience checking PIB, AJU, SPPB and customs documentation.
Knowledge of HS Codes, customs valuation and preferential tariffs.
Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience in shipping, import, customs compliance or logistics.
