Ticket To The Moon is an international hammock and outdoor/lifestyle accessories brand based in Bali, with commercial presence across Europe, Asia (Korea, Japan) and beyond. Our structure includes several legal entities (Indonesia, Austria), distribution partnerships in a dozen countries, and a growing production and export operation.
The Role
We are looking for an in-house generalist legal counsel to support all of the company's day-to-day legal matters, working directly with senior management. You will be the central point of contact for all legal questions across the business, both in Indonesia and internationally.
Your Responsibilities
Commercial contracts — drafting, reviewing, and negotiating distribution agreements, supplier contracts, brand licensing agreements, and partnership deals
Internal processes, covering both drafting new SOPs and reviewing/updating existing ones.
Corporate law — overseeing governance across the group's various entities (general assemblies, shareholder resolutions, articles of association amendments), in coordination with notaries and local counsel (Indonesia, Austria, Europe)
Employment law — managing employment contracts, HR compliance in Indonesia, and support on disciplinary and contentious matters
Intellectual property — protecting the brand and designs internationally, handling counterfeit/unauthorized resale disputes
Customs & international trade — supporting import/export matters, customs duty exemptions, and multi-jurisdiction regulatory compliance
Regulatory compliance — monitoring legal developments affecting the business (product labeling, EU regulations, legal warranty requirements)
Dispute support — managing customer claims, amicable dispute resolution, and coordination with external counsel when needed
What We're Looking For
3 to 6 years of experience as an in-house or corporate lawyer, ideally in an international/multi-jurisdiction environment
Law degree (business law, international commercial law, or equivalent)
Fluent English and Bahasa required
Experience in corporate law, commercial contracts, and ideally international trade/customs law
Autonomous, rigorous, and able to make complex legal topics clear for a non-legal team
Comfortable in a multicultural, fast-growing environment
