We are now seeking a Remote Virtual Health Medical Assistant & Patient Advocate to join our team and help us continue to provide top-notch care to our clients.Position Overview:As a Remote Virtual Health Medical Assistant & Patient Advocate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' overall health and well-being. You will work remotely, providing virtual assistance to our clients and their families, ensuring that they receive the best possible care and support.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct virtual health assessments and consultations with clients to identify their needs and develop personalized care plans- Coordinate and schedule virtual appointments with healthcare providers and specialists- Act as a liaison between clients, their families, and healthcare providers to ensure effective communication and coordination of care- Provide virtual support and education to clients and their families on health-related topics and resources- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation- Collaborate with our team of in-home caregivers to ensure that clients' care plans are being followed and any issues are addressed promptly- Continuously strive to improve the quality of care and services provided to our clientsQualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred- Experience with virtual health assessments and consultations- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong organizational and time-management skills- Proficiency in using virtual communication platforms and electronic medical records- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screeningContract Details:This is a full-time, remote position with flexible hours. The successful candidate will be required to have a reliable internet connection and a quiet, private workspace.
